COURSE ON GOVERNANCE AND ECONOMIC POLICY IN AFRICA

· Four (4) weeks of intensive training in economic governance.
· Relevant selected modules encompassing all the new theoretical and practical tools of economic governance, covering two main components: (i) the quality of economic governance with institutions and the consistency of macroeconomic policies, and (ii) corporate governance.
· A course delivered by top-level professionals and academics.
· Expected results include new vistas in professional career development and opportunity for the acquisition and improvement of methods and tools for analyzing economic governance.
· Targets:
Officials with a solid background in economics, drawn from the public sector (including ministerial departments), regional organizations, private sector, civil society, dealing with economic governance.
· Application and deadline:
Application form (also available on IDEP Web Site) is to be duly completed by the candidate and confirmed by the relevant authority and should reach the address below together with photocopy of relevant pages of the passport not later than 16 March 2007.
