IDEP’s second major programme area is research on economic development issues, which complements the training programme and responds primarily to the needs of its policy-making communities and other stakeholders. Accordingly, the research agenda for IDEP is designed to undertake supportive research that strengthens and informs its training programmes and other interface functions.
